Use of the website
Terms and legal information disclaimer
Read these terms alongside the privacy information and the current consultation form terms.
Purpose of the website
General information helps identify questions; individual documents determine how they apply
The website explains bailiff and enforcement processes in England and Wales. It is not a court, creditor, enforcement authority or substitute for advice from an appropriately regulated professional where that is required.
General information
The pages use careful, debt-specific wording, but they cannot determine an individual outcome without the complete facts, documents and current procedure. The law can change after a review date.
The £35 consultation route
The consultation form states the current price, scope, payment process and submission terms. Do not assume that submitting a form creates a hold, stays enforcement, extends a deadline or instructs representation in court.
Deadlines and urgent action
Check any deadline stated by a court, Traffic Enforcement Centre, authority or document promptly. Take any required procedural step within time. Call 999 where there is immediate danger or a crime in progress.
Lawful conduct
The website does not encourage threats, violence, obstruction, concealment, fraudulent transfer, interference with controlled goods or evasion of a lawful process. Evidence-led complaints and applications should use the route provided by law.
External sources and forms
Official links and the external consultation form are operated by other organisations. Their content, availability and privacy terms can change.
No guaranteed outcome
No page, consultation or procedural route guarantees that enforcement will stop, a fee will be removed, goods will be released, a court order will be made or money will be recovered.
